Welcome Message from ISA
President Jakub Goralski

ISA President

Dear Fellow International Students,

My name is Jakub Goralski and I’m the President of the International Student Association for Spring 2008. I come from Poland and this is my 5th and last year here at SDSU. I am studying International Security and Conflict Resolution and I am graduating with a Bachelors Degree this May. I work at the ISC front desk, so even if you don’t recognize my name, I am sure we have met at least once.

Using this opportunity I would like to encourage you to take active part in the fun activities our Association is involved in.

First of all, our biggest event of this semester – the ISA Prom: Carnevale!  This will be an evening to remember!  DJ, dancing, photographer, and lots of Venetian fun.  Take part in this end-of-the-year dance – an American tradition.

We are also planning our camping trip, a beach clean-up, hookah nights, bonfires and many other fun activities. If you have an idea for an event we should organize – let us know. We will consider even the wildest of wild ideas for activities you might have and if they are feasible – we will make it happen.

If you have any suggestions or expectations regarding the ISA, please feel free to let me know and I will do my best to implement changes and adjustments. Remember that you all are members of the ISA and through our organization you have an opportunity to express yourselves and make a statement. So don’t be just another student who follows the crowd. Be original and creative and join us at our meetings to let your voice be heard.

With regards,

Jakub Goralski
