ISA is looking for students interested in serving on the Executive Committee for the 2011-2012 academic school year. The Executive Committee includes the office of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, Public Relations, and Community Service. The International Student Association (ISA) is a recognized on-campus organization that plans and coordinates a variety of programs to enhance international understanding and friendship. Getting involved in the ISA is a great way to enrich your experience at SDSU and make new friends. Work closely with students from all over the world while developing skills in organizational leadership, intercultural communication, and problem-solving. Meetings take place on Fridays at 2:00 p.m. at the International Student Center.

International Coffee Hours
This is a popular traditional gathering of students and faculty held every Friday at noon at the ISC featuring lunch and entertainment. Plan your schedule so you can join us each Friday for fun, food and friendships. Who’s hosting this week? Check here

The ISA organizes activities to help students get to know each other and their community better! Come get involved – Annual Prom dance, potlucks, camping trip, whale watching and so much more. Check out photos of our events here.
Annual International Peace Village Celebration
The Peace Village is the annual Fall celebration of international cultures. This is an opportunity for international students to share their traditions with the SDSU and San Diego community. The event attracts over 1000 participants including school children and community leaders. It features cultural displays, music, song, dances, costumes and performances from all over the world. Plan to participate in some way: setting up a display from your country, performing, or preparing food. The International Festival is the ISA's biggest event of the year!

The members of the ISA organize many other events every semester based on the interests of the students. Some recent events have included the Holiday Party, Cooking-Round-the-World Potluck, beach bonfire party, Garage Sale, and the trip to LA to watch the game show, Hollywood Squares, being filmed. Possible events are only limited to our imagination!
