The Admissions Staff at the International Student Center (ISC) is here to help! We want to make the process as smooth and simple as possible for everyone involved. The Admissions Staff handles prospective student advising, campus visits and recruitment, coordinating the application process, and answering all questions and concerns along the way.

 


Cynthia AraizaCynthia Araiza, Prospective Student Advisor

Cynthia assists in advising students prior to and throughout the application process in addition to managing data pertaining to the students' records, and can be contacted directly at caraiza@mail.sdsu.edu

Yvette PedersonSarah Clinton, Programs Coordinator

Sarah is the Programs Coordinator and Newly Admitted Student Advisor. She helps in organizing and coordinating events and she is the primary point of contact for students who have recently been admitted to SDSU. You can contact her at sclinton@mail.sdsu.edu

Heather ShapazianEsmeralda Griego, Admissions Assistant

Esmeralda is the Admissions Data Manager for the ISC. She processes applications and handles status checks for all students. She can assist you throughout the admissions process. You can contact Esmeralda directly via email at egriego@mail.sdsu.edu .

Noah HansenNoah Hansen, Assistant Director

Noah is the Assistant Director for Recruitment and Communications at the ISC. In this capacity, he oversees international student admissions and recruitment, manages the application process, and forges relationships with international student advisers at colleges and universities both in the United States and abroad. Kim Koenigsberger, Outreach & Recruitment Coordinator

Kim is the primary liaison between the International Student Center and  community college advisors.  She keeps advisors informed on the application process through newsletters and on-sight visits (when possible).
