If you have a room for rent, beware of people giving you foreign checks. People using our website to post Housing & Roommate ads have reported being targets of a scam.

Do not exchange money by mail, do not accept foreign checks.  Beware of fraudulent checks and do not respond to offers to do business via mail and the internet.
