Transportation in San Diego

San Diego State University now provides its students with the Trolley System at the University Campus by opening the Trolley Station at The Aztec Center.
SDSU Students can purchase an "unlimited ride" Fall semester Bus and Trolley pass for $116.00. This pass is valid from the first day of class through the last final, plus more.
A round-trip Trolley ticket ranges in price from $3.00 and $6.00, depending on trip length. An all day pass is $5.00. One-way, Round-Trip and Day passes are available from ticket machines at each Trolley station and can be used at any time on MTS Trolleys throughout the operating day.
San Diego Transportation
San Diego city hosts trusty cabs and rental cars, but a host of unique vehicular options are also at your beck and call. You can hire a pedi-cab to tour the town, a water taxi to cruise San Diego harbor or the MTS San Diego Trolley to take you into Mexico for margaritas and mariachis.

Public Transportation:
MTS buses, trolleys and coasters provide convenient transportation throughout San Diego County . Bus schedules differ, but most hotels and attractions have service every 15 to 20 minutes. The San Diego Trolley runs every 15 minutes throughout most of the day and in intervals of 30 minutes in the evening. The North County Coaster runs 43 miles along the coast with station stops in downtown San Diego , Old Town , Solana Beach , Encinitas, Carlsbad and Oceanside . You can also get a free trolly transfer which will take you to Tijuana . All MTS buses, trolleys and coasters are equipped with wheelchair lifts.
