Health & Safety

Safety is a prime concern of all who are involved in study abroad ventures--participants, their families, advisers, institutions that send students abroad, those that host them, and the staff of all organizations that operate programs.

The US State Department has created a brand-new website especially geared for study abroad students at http://studentsabroad.state.gov – check it out!

SDSU is a member of the the SAFETI (Safety Abroad First - Educational Travel Information) Consortium . The Consortium includes over 200 colleges and universities nationwide that are networked to promote health and safety for study abroad.
