STA Travel
Visit STA Travel on campus in the SDSU Aztec Center (619 342-0344). It has more than 450 branches or affiliates all over the world, and contracts with most major airlines to offer lower cost and more flexible airline tickets designed for students. Ticket validities are usually a full year and both date change and cancellation fees are often less expensive than regular or internet fares. Specially trained Travel Advisors familiar with student needs can assist you with all aspects of your travel arrangements, including rail passes, accommodation, and tours. The airlines require that you have an International Student Identity Card (ISIC-$22), which is universally recognized as proof of student status and gives you access to student discounts throughout the world as well as some insurance coverage. An ISIC card can be obtained at the STA Travel office or www.isicus.com
